The 5th Orange County Women's Health Summit is the premier conference for healthcare, social service, nonprofit, government, academic, advocacy, and other professionals concerned with women's health in Orange County.
This year’s Summit will feature presentations about health care reform, efforts to repeal and/or undermine the Affordable Care Act, and the implications for women's health at the national, state, and local levels. Join us to stay abreast of the latest developments and identify strategies for protecting women's health in this rapidly changing landscape.
Our keynote speaker is Alina Salganicoff, PhD, Vice President and Director of Women's Health Policy at the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation. A national expert on health care access and financing for low-income women and children, Alina also serves on the Institute of Medicine (IOM) Preventive Services for Women Committee, which established and recently updated the national Women's Preventive Services Guidelines. Click here to read an issue brief produced by Alina's team at the Kaiser Family Foundation, Ten Ways That the House American Health Care Act Could Affect Women.
